I would like to hear more about the genetic mutations believed to be responsible for both intelligence and brain disorders. I have been learning about the common gene variants 677 and 1298 which, according to the Human Genome project, are two of the 50+ variants resulting in MTHFR deficiency, a condition involving the metholation processes resulting in reduced brain pathway functions. MTHFR deficiency has the first FDA approved treatment through the Genome project. Perhaps I will see an interview on the subject here in the near future.
